It has just been announced by Blizzard that the Overwatch beta on PC will be available to play one more time from Friday 15 April at 9 AM (PDT) until Saturday 16 April at 9 PM (PDT).  This upcoming first-person shooter’s beta version for testing officially starts on 15 April, you can sign up for it now.

Overwatch is considered as the first new universe, the creators of World of Warcraft has established after nearly two decades of spin-offs and sequels. The game’s setting is in a near-future, stylized version of Earth and it follows a task force of heroes who saved the world during a global revolution of robots. The team is called back into action although the threat was vanquished and the group disbanded. Overwatch also has some eccentric cast of human, animal and robot characters, each of them possess fascinating abilities. The game aimed at players of all skill levels.

“We’re aiming to achieve two fundamental goals with our public beta test: First, get a great deal of top-notch feedback on the gameplay – these feedbacks include balance, feel, and fun – to help us make Overwatch the best team-based shooter in the world” explained by Blizzard in a blog spot while they were answering to the question when does Overwatch Beta start.

“After that, the second goal we’re aiming to is to hammer the heck out of our tech, including stress-testing our server infrastructure and ensuring the game runs smoothly on as many different systems as possible.”

In case you have pre-ordered Overwatch before April 29th, it could be possible you’re already playing its latest multiplayer shooting beta. If you didn’t is now wondering when does Overwatch Beta start again, you’ll have to wait until the open beta begins on May 5th, this beta will run until May 9th. For everyone who didn’t pre-order the game, you’ll have to wait and access the game on May 4th at midnight BST / 4pm PDT / 11pm UTC. Please note that your access will end on May 9th at 6pm BST / 10am PDT / 5pm UTC.

Just like when you play other Blizzard games, you’ll need a Battle.net account and the client in order to install and play Overwatch as well. After the beta starts, Overwatch should be present on your games list and available for you to download it. Until the release of Overwatch on May 24th, this is the last beta open. “In order to help us get the precise and effective information from this testing phase of Overwatch, we will be flagging accounts for the Beta Test Weekend starting in the afternoon (Pacific Time) on Thursday, April 14,” Blizzard said on its Battle.net website upon discussing about when does Overwatch Beta start.

“Once flagged, we would like all new recruits to download and install the beta client on your platform so you can get ready for action once the stress test officially starts.

The full roster of 21 heroes will be available to sample during the beta. However, you can only explore three maps in the game only and they are: Hanamura, Route 66, and Nepal. One more thing that you should know – features such as Weekly Brawl and Competitive Play won’t be in the game during the test.

“Because this is a stress test for the game, our priority is receiving your technical feedback, like how Overwatch perform on your system, your experience  and thoughts about the beta servers, reports of bugs, and other problems relate to the game”, Blizzard said.

“Our first goal is to push our hardware to the limit, so don’t be surprised if you go through performance problems or run into unexpected downtime—that’s completely normal”

Overwatch is is game that available on various platforms like PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. An open beta will run from May 5 to May 9 across consoles and PC. Players that have pre-ordered before April 29 can play starting from May 3 and they can invite a friend as well.
